Hallie Bishop was born and raised in Billings, Montana. Hallie attended the University of Montana earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History with a minor in Political Science. Hallie commenced her legal studies at the Alexander Blewett III School of Law at the University of Montana. During law school, Hallie was active in student groups, served as President of the Montana Trial Lawyers Association Student Chapter, and was selected as a member of the Public Land & Resources Law Review, which she served as Conference Editor. She also interned with Chief Judge Dana Christensen of the U.S. District Court for the District of Montana. After graduating from law school, Hallie served as law clerk for Justice Michael Wheat until his retirement and Justice Ingrid Gustafson on the Montana Supreme Court.
Hallie is admitted to practice in Montana State Courts and the United States District Court for the District of Montana.
In her free time, Hallie enjoys skiing, spending time on the water, traveling, and has an affinity for baseball.
